Flow chart is a diagram can let user more easy to understand.People would like to see a easy diagram more than a few hundred word article.
Flow chart is also a diagram that make simple progress or conditional.And also show the way step by step or some guide.
It has a start point and end point.Start point is those solution,and the ending point is the final solution.So the flow chart is include alot of solution.Between the start point and end point,there is alot of how to solve and alot of methods.
Here is a example that show a solution and guide how to fix your desktop ,if your desktop are not working.
As you see,the diagram is include some shape,the pink box is represent the tittle,and the yellow diamond shape is represent the the condition/step.There is the arrow Yes or No is represent theyour dicision.For the green box is the way how to solve it.
Why do you need the flow chart in your mobile interface design & screen interface design ?
As i said,it can let people understand easily and easy get to the goal or the exit we want.
Flow Chart can change something complex into a easy by using a simple diagram.

Oi a normal user can't read a flowchart. And more like not allowed to read the program flowchart. Have u ever encounter a website's flowchart?
Flowchart is for us programmer, but for what?
Hmm.... do you think a programming flowchart, like an actual flowchart for a big program will be easy? It will at least consisted of 100 boxes and links
i agree that flowchart is a simple step by step thing but what is the step not simple?got more detail in the steps?like photoshop so many ways to do so many things.what you think?
